Review the following PowerPoint and follow the directions below (which are also printed in your tub). Happy creating!
I CAN…
• Click through the PowerPoint on mrsplavichsclass.com to learn about the totem poles created by tribes like the Kwakiutl
• Draw your totem pole design on your sheet of paper using the guidelines a member of the Kwakiutl tribe might follow (represents family, animals, etc.)
• Decorate it and make it colorful!
• Glue two strips of paper on the back like the example and turn in to Mrs. Plavich
